How Can CPAP Comfort Sealant Help Me?
The sealant, works by filling in the small spaces between the skin and the mask and making the mask surface ‘tacky’ against the skin. It makes the interface less slippery. By gently holding the mask against the skin it allows the mask to be strapped to the face with less pressure, therefore more comfort. That’s what makes it unique and effective.

How To Use CPAP Comfort Sealant
The sealant should be used sparingly. It works best with a very thin layer. Dab the sealant with a fingertip to the areas where the mask is in contact with the skin and is most likely to leak. Then put the mask on and test the fit. Adjust the amount of pressure needed to prevent leaks by using the ‘mask fit test’ on the CPAP machine. When used properly the amount of pressure needed to prevent leaking at the highest pressure setting should be less than needed without the sealant making the mask fitting more comfortable as well as finally have a great nights sleep!
Cleaning Your CPAP Mask
The mask should be cleaned everyday as per instructions. An easy way to clean the area with the sealant is with a small cotton wipe and a small amount of alcohol. Gently wipe the area with the sealant.
Before next use, place some more of the sealant onto the mask. It’s easy to see the coverage when viewed at an angle.
